The Furniture Connexion Terms and Conditions of Sale
Thank you for choosing Furniture Connexion to enhance the beauty of your home. We hope you enjoy your new furnishings for many years to come. Please read the following terms and conditions of sale; your purchase on FurnitureConnexion.com indicates your agreement with these conditions.*
Purchase Information - Unless other arrangements are made, all merchandise must be delivered or picked up within 30 days of purchase. If the merchandise is not picked up within 30 days of deposit, items will be returned to the warehouse and a 20% cancellation fee will be incurred.
Layaways – Available only at a Furniture Connexion retail location and not on FurnitureConnexion.com. See store(s) for details.
Special Orders - Available only at a Furniture Connexion retail location and not on FurnitureConnexion.com. See store(s) for details.
Cancellations – Cancellation requests must be made 72 hours prior to a scheduled delivery/pickup. Cancellation requests made with less than 72 hours notice will incur a 10% handling charge.
Returns – Merchandise may be returned, in NEW condition, within 48 hours for reselection of an equally (or greater) priced item. Otherwise return product is subject to a 20% re-stocking fee. Used or damaged furniture may not be returned.
Refunds – Any refunds are issued in the same manner as the original payment was received. Delivery, assembly charges and fabric protection are non-refundable.
Delivery - We will be glad to arrange delivery of your furniture, in the state of Oregon, through a professional delivery service. Our goal is to provide you with excellent service and an accurate delivery. To ensure this, please review the following delivery guidelines.
• A person 18 years or older must be present to sign for delivery.
• Have invoice and ID. The person named on the invoice must be present with a valid picture ID, along with the credit card used for the purchase.
• You will be called the night before your scheduled delivery and given a 4 hour delivery window. If you are unavailable at that time, we
will reschedule for the next available day. If you do not receive a call by 7:00pm the night before, please call the delivery company
directly at: 503-781-9882; leaving a message if necessary. Your delivery time must be confirmed with the delivery company.
• Insurance regulations prohibit the delivery team from moving furniture that is not part of your delivery. Please be sure the area or room where
you want the items placed is cleared in advance.
• Insurance regulations prohibit the delivery team from setting up bunk beds.
• Standard delivery assembly includes set up of dining, entertainment, and occasional pieces. Headboard, footboard, rail and mirror
assembly is not included. There is a $39 charge per furniture suite for assembly. For insurance reasons we cannot assemble bunk beds.
• All furniture will arrive at your home unwrapped from its original packaging.
• If there are delays due to weather or traffic, the delivery team will keep you updated.
Pickup – Merchandise may be picked up at the NE Portland Furniture Connexion warehouse during select hours on scheduled days. Our goal is to provide you with excellent service. To ensure this, please review the following guidelines.
• Please call: 503-459-4703 at least one hour in advance so we can have your order ready when you arrive.
• Re-measure to make sure your new furniture will fit in your home.
• Bring invoice and ID. The person named on the invoice must be present with a valid picture ID, along with the credit card used for the purchase.
If someone other than the purchaser is picking up your furniture, contact your salesperson prior to pick-up.
• All merchandise is unassembled and in original packaging. Arrangements can be made for assembly; additional charges apply.
• Our staff will happily load your merchandise onto your vehicle, however due to insurance regulations we cannot secure your furniture
in/onto your vehicle.
• Pack rope and blankets to properly secure your new furniture to ensure its safe ride home. Bring a tarp in wet weather.
We are unable to provide these items.
• Make sure your vehicle is large enough to safely transport your new furniture.
• The Furniture ConneXion assumes no responsibility for items damaged by accidents, weather, or movement during transport.
• Please inspect all your furniture at the time of pickup. At your option we can open your order for inspection prior to pickup. In doing so you
will be required to sign a liability release form.
• Any hidden damage must be reported to Customer Service [link] within 24 hours of pickup. All returned goods must be brought
back in original packaging.
Warranty – The Furniture Connexion facilitates the manufacturer’s warranty, under normal use for a period of one year from the date of delivery or pickup. The warranty is limited to the original purchaser with a receipt. The warranty is VOID if the merchandise has been moved from the original delivery address or if The Furniture ConneXion determines the furniture damage was caused by abuse, negligence, accident, or if used for purposes other than those intended, such as commercial use. Warranty service will be provided without charge for merchandise brought to our service center. Transportation to and from the service center is the responsibility of the purchaser. For your convenience, we can also arrange for the merchandise to be picked up from your home; delivery charges will apply. If a warranted defect occurs within the first thirty (30) days on product that was delivered The Furniture Connexion will cover the transportation expense.
Visible surface damage (scratches, nicks, tears, etc.) are not covered under this warranty unless reported within the first three (3) days of receipt. The Furniture Connexion is not responsible for visible surface damage to product that has been picked up from our service center unless it is noted at the original time of pick up.
The above stated warranty is limited to repair or replacement of defective product at the option of The Furniture Connexion and FurnitureConnexion.com. Any damage for breach of warranty due to consequential losses to property other than the defective product is excluded. All implied warranties are limited to the duration of this written warranty. This is the exclusive express warranty. Any and all other statements or express warranties are specifically denied. *All references to Furniture Connexion also refer to Furniture Connexion.com.
