Terms of Purchase

Thank you for choosing The Furniture Connexion to enhance the beauty of your home.  We hope you enjoy your new furnishings for many years to come. Please read the following Conditions Of Sale; your signature on the opposite side of this invoice indicates your agreement with these conditions.

Price Match and Price Guarantee - If the IDENTICAL item is advertised for less at any local competitor or if The Furniture ConneXion lowers the price of your merchandise within 30 days of your purchase, we will match the price and refund to you the difference. Proof of competitor’s price is required. Internet sales, clearance or floor sample merchandise, bonus or free offers(such as free delivery) are not included.

Purchase Information - Unless other arrangements are made, all merchandise must be delivered or picked up within 30 days of purchase.  If the item is not picked up within 30 days of deposit, item will be returned to the warehouse, and a 10% re-stocking fee will incur.

Layaways – Any sales scheduled for delivery/pickup beyond 30 days from date of sale is deemed a layaway.  All layaways require a minimum 20% deposit.  Due to high cost of warehousing, layaway merchandise is not reserved at The Furniture Connexion.  The layaway program guarantees the price, but not availability of the merchandise.  All layaways require 45 days notice before pick-up/delivery to ensure merchandise availability.  If for any reason a layaway sale needs to be cancelled, a 20% cancellation fee will be applied and all remaining payments received become an in-store credit which may be applied to any merchandise in the store for immediate delivery.

Special Orders - Any furniture ordered specifically for a customer, requires a 25% deposit.  Because we order these items special for you, we are unable to cancel them, allow them to be returned or exchanged.  Our delivery times on special orders are estimates—not a guarantee.  We will do our best to get your furniture quickly. 

Returns and Cancellations - You may receive a total refund of any monies for furnishings purchased in our showrooms any time within seven (7) days of the date of purchase. Cancellation requests after seven (7) days of the date of purchase will incur a 10% re-stocking fee. Merchandise received in good condition is not returnable or cancelable.

Refunds - Any refunds are issued in the same manner as the original payment was received, except cash. Payments by cash or check will be issued as a refund check from our corporate office within 10-14 business days of the cancellation. Delivery and/or pickup charges and fabric protection treatment are non-refundable

As Is or Clearance Merchandise – All “As-IS” sales are final and are not eligible for warranty, return, or exchange.  All As-Is merchandise MUST be picked up or delivered within 7 days of purchase. All floor models are sold As Is. 

Delivery - We will be glad to arrange delivery of your furniture through one of several professional delivery services. The Delivery Service will contact you either the day before or the morning of your delivery. In most cases you will be given a 4 hour delivery window.  Due to our  liability insurance limitations, the delivery crew cannot move any furniture which was not part of your delivery.  Please clear your room(s) prior to delivery service arrival.  A delivery fee will apply.

Pick-up – Please call one hour in advance of when you plan on picking up your merchandise. The warehouse staff can assist in loading your merchandise, but due to insurance regulation CANNOT secure the merchandise to your vehicle. You are solely responsible for securing your merchandise to your vehicle. The Furniture ConneXion is not responsible for any loss or damage to merchandise or damage to your vehicle.  It is your responsibility to inspect the packaging of all pick-up items prior to loading into your vehicle.  If requested, item will be removed from packaging for inspection.  The Furniture ConneXion assumes no responsibility for items that are damaged due to accidents, weather conditions, or any damage occurring to an item after it was removed from its original packaging.   If an item is picked up that has a manufacture’s defect, it is your responsibility to return the item to The Furniture ConneXion for servicing. For your convenience, we can also arrange for the merchandise to be picked up from your home, standard delivery charges do apply.

Warranty – The Furniture ConneXion warrants our furniture to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of one year from the date of delivery or pick-up. The warranty is limited to the original purchaser with a receipt.
Warranty service will be provided without charge for merchandise brought to our service center. At your option we can provide in-home service at a normal trip charge. The trip charge will be waived for merchandise delivered by The Furniture ConneXion if a warranty defect occurs and is reported within the thirty (30) days of receipt.

Visible surface damage (scratches, nicks, tears, etc.) are not covered under this warranty unless reported within the first three (3) days of delivery. The Furniture ConneXion is not responsible for visible surface damage to product that has been picked up from our service center unless it is noted at the original time of pick up.
The warranty is VOID if the merchandise has been moved from the original delivery address or if The Furniture ConneXion determines the furniture damage was caused by abuse, negligence, accident, or if used for purposes other than those intended, such as commercial use.
The above stated warranty is limited to repair or replacement of defective product at the option of The Furniture ConneXion. Any damage for breach of warranty due to consequential losses to property other than the defective product is excluded. All implied warranties are limited to the duration of this written warranty. This is the exclusive express warranty. Any and all other statements or express warranties are specifically denied.
